About this policy

This policy explains how Maître des Clés handles information related to website visits, enquiries and cookie choices. It covers the French and English website. For privacy questions or requests, use the contact at the bottom of this page.

Information collected and how it is used

When you contact us, we use the information you provide to understand your enquiry, reply and clarify the service you need. The form requires your name, email, telephone number and message; vehicle make and model are optional. The language of your enquiry accompanies the message.

Do not submit payment card numbers, identification documents or other sensitive information through the form. The website does not provide customer accounts, online payment or automatic booking.

Requests needed to display and secure the website transmit technical data, including your IP address and browser information, to the services hosting and delivering the website and images. The service-area map is an image: it does not request your location.

Contact form, email and retention

Enquiries are directed to [email protected]. When enabled, the form sends messages by email using Twilio SendGrid. Your consent is required before submission. A backup is stored in private Cloudflare R2 storage, separate from public images; it contains the form details, date, consent and transmission status. Access is restricted to authorized staff. Automatic deletion is scheduled after 30 days, subject to the provider’s processing delay. If delivery is unavailable or fails, an error appears: contact us directly by email or telephone.

The planned retention period for form messages in our email inbox is one month. This period applies to our inbox and does not describe providers’ technical log retention. Email us about a message you have sent.

Form protection

When configured, Cloudflare Turnstile protects the form against automated submissions. This security check may process technical browser and connection data. It is not used for advertising and does not require Marketing cookies. If verification fails, contact us by phone or email.

Cookies and browser storage

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a separate technology that can also remember information on your device.

This website saves your consent choices in browser local storage under “brand-cookie-consent-v1”. The record contains the categories you accepted or rejected and the update date. It is necessary to respect your choices and does not contain contact form details.

This setting has no automatic expiry in the website. It remains until you replace your choices, clear browser data or the consent mechanism changes version. Choices apply to the browser and device you use.

Accepting, rejecting or changing your choices

Optional categories are off before you make a choice. You can accept all, reject optional categories or customize each one. Reading this policy or browsing the site does not constitute consent and does not close an open banner.

Use “Cookie preferences” in the footer or the button below to review your choices. Rejecting optional categories keeps information, contact details and area pages accessible; embedded videos remain blocked without Marketing consent.

You can also clear this site’s data in your browser settings. Withdrawal applies to subsequent loading and cannot undo information already sent to a provider. Third-party retention periods and practices depend on their own policies.

External services and links

Website images are delivered through Cloudflare R2. YouTube videos use youtube-nocookie.com and load only after you allow the Marketing category. YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode does not remove the need to review that provider’s practices when watching a video.

Links to YouTube, Facebook and other external websites take you to services with their own policies. Providers may process information outside Québec or Canada. Contact us with questions about the services used and the handling of your information.

Your privacy requests

You may request access to your information, correction or deletion where applicable rules allow, or withdraw consent. Explain your request and provide enough information to locate it, without initially attaching sensitive documents.

We may verify your identity before releasing personal information. Requests are handled in accordance with applicable obligations and exceptions under Québec and Canadian law.

This policy may change as website features and services evolve. The update date appears at the top of this page. Any new optional use must respect the applicable consent choices.
